NEC Harlequins make four changes to the team that started against Newcastle Falcons on New Years Day for the game against Bath in the Guinness Premiership at the Twickenham Stoop tomorrow (Saturday 6th January), kick-off 3.00pm.
In the pack, an eye injury rules out Jim Evans, so Nicolas Spanghero comes into the second row and partners Ollie Kohn.
In the back division, Jordan Turner-Hall is back in action for the first time since 17th November and partners Stuart Abbott in the midfield, taking the place of Mel Deane. Injury rules out both Steve So'oialo and Andrew Mehrtens, so Danny Care and Adrian Jarvis start at scrum half and fly half respectively.
Hal Luscombe returns from injury and is amongst the replacements, as are both Ugo Monye and Simon Miall.
"We've won five of our last seven matches in the Guinness Premiership, which is satisfying but we're under no illusions as to how difficult tomorrow's game will be if we are to continue that momentum," said Dean Richards, NEC Harlequins Director of Rugby. "We have been beaten by Bath twice in the European Challenge Cup already this season and we certainly have a challenge in front of us."
"Our discipline has continued to improve and this is shown by the fact that over the last three months our average penalty count has fallen to below ten per game. In contrast to ourselves, Bath do not have the best disciplinary record, highlighted in the recent performances against us, especially down at The Rec, so this must be an area of concern for them."
