<1r>Last Friday (3rd August) twenty five 11 to 13 year-old members of Teddington RFC were lucky enough to receive a unique coaching clinic from Harlequins and England legend Will Greenwood.
ITV's camera and production crew made their way down to Bushy Park in south-west London to film the Teddington players in action with the former World Cup winner. The footage will be used for a promotional video in advance of the 2007 Rugby World Cup that starts next month.
Simon Cartmell, Chairman of Teddington Youth Rugby said: "We are grateful to Harlequins for putting us forward for this unique opportunity as it was such a fantastic chance for some of our younger players to be coached by a legend of the game."
"We are fortunate that our close relationship with Quins provides our youngsters with opportunities such as this. I'm sure our players will have learnt from this one off experience and will remember the whole day for a long time to come."
<2>"They all seemed to really enjoy it - Will was a gentleman and was great with the kids too, teaching them the skills and signing autographs for them afterwards. We can't wait for the proper season to get up and running now."
The programme is due to first appear on
www.ITV.com prior to the World Cup.
