<1R>As the 2007/08 season approaches fast, Harlequins Community Team have undergone several changes and are now ready to unveil the new look community matchday programme for the coming campaign.
With Ben Thurlow replacing Nick Hyde as the new Harlequins Community Development Officer, it is Ben who will be co-ordinating all matchday activity with his dedicated team of qualified coaches and referees.
The community matchday programme is as popular as it has ever been, with over 15,000 match tickets sold through the community scheme during the 2006/07 season alone. However, the Club are not resting on its laurel's as the Community Team continue to develop the matchday programme for associate rugby clubs and schools.
For the 2007/08 season the programme will include the new and improved Etihad Guard of Honour, Guy Salmon Coaching Clinics and the Etihad Curtain Raiser Cup options for children to participate in on the hallowed turf of the Twickenham Stoop pitch and the community pitches on Craneford Way.
The Community section on the website has been altered and expanded, and the Club urge all participants to check this for enrolment details, updates, news and information both pre and post matchday. There will be regular reports, published results, pictures and various community news features, so if you're in doubt about anything or just fancy taking a look at what Quins have been up to in the community, then log-on to the
community section.
