<1R>In association with Harlequins Official Sports Drinks Supplier Taut, Olympic Gold medal sprinter Darren Campbell MBE teamed up with Quins and England winger David Strettle during a Rugbyclass coaching clinic held at the Twickenham Stoop last Thursday (23rd August).
As part of the event that ran from 22nd to 24th August at the home of Harlequins, Darren and David were due to compete in a head-to-head race. However, due to David's recent broken metatarsal, the two instead hosted a relay for the participants involving both speed and rugby skills, which had been worked on in earlier clinics.
Harlequins Official Sports Drinks Supplier Taut gave away 10 places on the Rugbyclass camp via a competition held on the Taut website. Following the relay race and coaching clinics, competition winners and Rugbyclass participants alike all took part in a 'Q & A' session followed by a signing session and chance to get photographs with these two world renowned professional athletes.
During week commencing 22nd April Harlequins will launch an innovative, new Membership Scheme which will replace the existing Season Ticket Holder Programme. Further details of the scheme will be announced in due course.
