Harlequins Director of Rugby Dean Richards has been forced to make two changes to the side that started against London Irish last weekend (Saturday 15th September) for the Guinness Premiership fixture against Leeds Carnegie at the Twickenham Stoop tomorrow (Saturday 22nd September), kick-off 5.00pm.
Simon Keogh starts at scrum half and replaces Danny Care, who misses out due to the ankle injury he picked up last week. Ugo Monye suffered a back injury in training at the beginning of the week, which means England Sevens international Charlie Amesbury starts on the left wing.
There are no changes to the pack, while on the bench Academy winger Seb Stegmann features in the Premiership squad for the first time. Also amongst the replacements is Billy Fulton, who joined Quins on a short-term contract earlier this week.
"I have a very high opinion of Leeds Coach Stuart Lancaster and given that they are in the same position as we were last year - coming back up into the Guinness Premiership - they will be desperate for the win," said Richards.
"It was very nice to get the first win under our belts and I am very happy with the team's performance against London Irish last weekend, especially as the average age of the starting line-up was only 25. We are a young and budding side, and the youngsters are out to prove themselves this season."
