<1R>Over 1,500 young rugby players competed and trained in tag rugby tournaments and coaching clinics all run and organised by the four clubs involved in the Double Header.
New summer signing for Quins, James Percival joined in with the Coaching Clinics. He helped to coach children on how to organise defence and defensive systems.
Percival said: "Seeing so many young players here at the Stoop is brilliant. I was more than pleased to come down here and get involved with the Harlequins Community Team and help coach some budding players of the future."
Ben Thurlow, Harlequins Community Development Officer, who co-ordinated the clinics said: "There is no better way to open the season than for the four London clubs to pull together and produce a fantastic day such as the EDF Energy Festival of Rugby. All of the coaching clinic participants worked extremely hard and I'm grateful to James Percival for giving up some of his time to come along and help."
The culmination of the tag tournaments saw eventual winners competing on the hallowed Twickenham turf in front of 40,000 Guinness Premiership supporters.
