Congratulations to David Strettle, who has won the Guinness Premiership Player of the Month award for February. The 23 year-old winger was a try scorer in Quins 28-15 victory away at Northampton Saints in the league (17th February), before going on to win his first international cap for England against Ireland in the Six Nations Championship at Croke Park the following week (24th February); a match in which he scored a try on debut.
"Wingers are there to finish off moves and I've been able to do that this season because the team is playing well and providing me with good ball," said Strettle. "It's a pleasure to play with the boys at Quins and they've given me the opportunity to go out there and showcase my skills."
"February was a good month for me - winning away at Northampton and playing for England - I just hope I can continue to put in good performances for club and country in the future."
Strettle will win his second international cap this Sunday (11th March) when he starts on the right wing for England in the Six Nations game against France at Twickenham, kick-off 3.00pm.
