The Blue Sky Leisure Group, incorporating NEC Harlequins, Sportingclass and Rugbyclass, has a vacancy for a Company Accountant based at the Twickenham Stoop Stadium. This role within a busy group finance department provides a rare and exciting opportunity to work within both a professional sports club and a leading hospitality and events company.
The role reports to the Finance Director and will also include management of two members of staff. Main duties will involve all aspects of management accounting, group payroll processing and payroll reporting, overview of the sales and purchase ledgers, cash control, matchday ticket reconciliations, IT system management and various other ad-hoc duties as required to provide an effective accounting service to the group companies.
Candidates that are either part-qualified or have a full accountancy qualification will be considered. Desirable, but not essential, skill requirements will be previous staff management and payroll processing.
