Paul Volley looks forward to Worcester on Saturday (3rd November)
1 November 2007 14:00pm
Every game played, whether it was pleasant on the eye or more like Bambi on ice, has its lessons to be learned, and the match against London Irish was no exception. There were certainly moments of weakness, but Dean Richards was happy to take away more positives than negatives. More importantly, the team walked off the pitch with their first win in the EDF Energy Cup and, maybe more importantly, their first win away from home.

Team Captain, Paul Volley, was happy with the win, and is looking forward to this Saturday's home match against Worcester Warriors.

'Worchester's strengths are going to be their forwards and their set pieces. The loss against Ospreys will only make them more focused and hungry for a win, so we will anticipate a very physical and forwards-based game; this is what we have been basing a good bit of our training around this week, down at Roehampton.'

It seems that training has gone well his week. The boys have the day off today, which will involve general resting, a bit of physio and, for those who are parents, looking after kids who have eaten too much chocolate after Trick or Treating for Halloween.

Thankfully, David Strettle and Danny Care are fit to play this weekend, after deciding to give Trick or Treating a miss this year!
