<1R>With new directional signage around the Twickenham Stoop and the ever popular Harlequins Honeyz handing out free testers of the guest ales available in the Quins Head to promote the new facility, the Greene King Supporters Pub was at full capacity.
To mark the occasion a ribbon cutting ceremony took place half an hour before kick-off at 2.30pm with Quins players Seb Jewell and Tani Fuga in attendance along with Harlequins Chief Executive Mark Evans, Greene King Managing Director Justin Adams and the Harlequins Honeyz.
Mark Evans said: 'Its fantastic news that official club sponsors Greene King have supported the Club through investing in a Greene King supporters style pub serving real ale to traditional rugby fans. The Quins Head is the only bar of its kind in the Guinness Premiership and goes to show that the Club continue to forge innovative and successful relationships with its partners which are not only beneficial to both sponsor and club, but more importantly the fans who always support us on a matchday at the Twickenham Stoop.'
The Quins Head is located behind the South Stand and serves the best of British Ales from brewer Greene King. Its every real ale fan's dream come true as each matchday it serves core brands Greene King IPA and Abbott Ale as well as a number of guest ales which have so far included Old Speckled Hen, Swing Lowe and Old Bob.
During week commencing 22nd April Harlequins will launch an innovative, new Membership Scheme which will replace the existing Season Ticket Holder Programme. Further details of the scheme will be announced in due course.
