Job Purpose: To manage the smooth running of the Twickenham Stoop Stadium - home to Harlequins Rugby Union and Harlequins Rugby League. The Stoop is also used extensively as a conference and events venue and on International Rugby weekends.
To manage external contracts which relate to cleaning, security, general maintenance, ground pitch maintenance, event medical cover and stewarding.
To liaise and work closely with other departmental managers and clients.
Lead Safety Officer at all events, especially match days.
Manage health and safety procedure for the stadium and offices.
Manage and monitor usage of utilities, mobile phones and general telephone systems.
Work in close liaison with Accounts on IT infrastructure management.
Manage insurance requirements for the Stadium, look after fire / emergency procedures and cover.
Work in close liaison with local authority groups such as the police, licensing officer, building control and safety.
Qualifications: An awareness of the Green Guide for Stadium, Health & Safety at work is essential.
Salary: OTE £40,000
