The Ride to the Tour

Harlequins' official charity partner Right To Play set off on this year's annual bike ride, The Ride to the Tour, from the Stoop. In 4 days over 50 riders, including our very own Andy Gornarsall, cycled 350 miles from London to Les Herbiers in western France, arriving in time to watch the finish of the first stage on the Tour de France.
The ride was both physically and mentally challenging, especially the gruelling 125 mile second day! But well worthwhile as the ride has so far raised over £70,000 and is set to beat the £100,000 target. What's more, all of our own Quins players had to match the distances cycled by the riders in their training sessions.
Well done to Gomars and all the riders on completing a fantastic challenge and raising loads of money for our charity partner, Right To Play.
