Argentina name Tomas Vallejos in 30-man squad for RWC
Argentina, in Pool B at the Rugby World Cup alongside Scotland, England, Georgia and Romania, last night named their squad for the tournament which sees Quins' Tomas Vallejos in the 30-man party.
England play Argentina in their opening game of the Rugby World Cup on Saturday 10th September, where Quins team mates are very likely to find themselves on opposite sides.
Academy Coach, and former Quins second row, Jim Evans, who has 173 caps for the London club, says:
"Tomas has come a long way since joining Quins. He has a really professional attitude and is a very dynamic second rower with great offloading skills; on top of that he is a really nice bloke.
"I think the style we play here at Quins really suits Tomas's style and he fully deserved his call-up after a strong performance last season. I would like to wish him all the best after the opening game against England"
