The suitable candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering, implementing and measuring all areas of Harlequins' marketing plan and strategies, with the purpose of creating a culture of action that creates, enhances and protects Harlequins image, regionally, nationally and internationally.

Duties:
- To lead and manage budget for Big Game 4
- To improve and oversee social media channels
- Ensuring consistency of marketing materials
- People management
- Brand stewardship of the Harlequins brand
- To track and measure all marketing activities
- To optimise revenue generation through marketing
- To support the delivery of the organisational communications planner
- To maintain and develop relationships with suppliers
- To lead matchday experience team
- To work with club sponsors on delivering their activation and marketing objectives
- To support general marketing campaigns across the organisation
Skills and Experience
- Strong consumer and product awareness
- Solid experience in social media, across all new digital platforms
- Good organisational and planning skills
- A leader who has created a raft of exciting new initiatives to reach a diverse audience and capture the imagination of the general public
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- The ability to work on multiple projects at one time
- A strategic thinker with a demonstrable understanding of the financial implications of marketing activities; used to operating within limited budgetary confines
- Experience of budgetary control
- People management experience
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, basic Photoshop etc)
- Excellent knowledge of marketing techniques
- Self-motivation
- Dynamism and enthusiasm for maximising communication
- The ability to be a team player
Entry
Complete graduate and post graduate level education
Area of specialisation: Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or related areas.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a significant portfolio across a number of fields, as well as working alongside the Community, Sales, Ticketing, PR, Sponsorship and Merchandise departments within one of the world's best known rugby clubs. Please note that this role will involve working at weekends and some unsocial hours.
