Every year 50,000 people, including 300 men, will hear the devastating words 'you have breast cancer'. Dealing with this diagnosis can be a confusing, lonely and frightening time not only for the person diagnosed, but for their partner, family and friends. Breast Cancer Care wants to be there for every single one of them. The charity brings people together, provides information and support, and campaigns for improved standards of care. Many of the charity's staff and volunteers have had a personal experience of breast cancer.

To celebrate Breast Cancer Care's Tackled Pink day, The Stoop will be awash with pink. Look out for volunteers collecting funds, dressed head to toe in pink, or visit Breast Cancer Care's information point stationed within the ladies lounge. A Breast Cancer Care Nurse will be on hand to answer any questions and there will be an array of breast awareness information to take away and share with friends, family and colleagues.

You can also choose to make a donation by text message to help the charity continue their vital work.

Using JustTextGiving by Vodaphone, supporters on Saturday can simply text the words "Quinn55 £3" to 70070 to donate £3 to Breast Cancer Care. The text message itself is completely free and a £3 donation will be added to your monthly bill or deducted from your phone credit.
