With Toulouse the visitors on Friday evening, here are three of the backs to look out for.
Maxime Medard - Wing
Maxime Medard is a fiercely quick winger/fullback who came through the Toulouse ranks since joining the club in 2000. Medard broke into the main Toulouse squad during the 2007/08 season as he took advantage of injuries to the established Vincent Clerc and Clement Poitrenaud to star in the French Top 14. With lightening pace and some interesting facial hair, the 25 year old will be a threat from anywhere on Friday.
Lionel Beauxis - Fly-Half
Lionel Beauxis joined Toulouse from Stade Francais this season. At just 26 years old, Beauxis has played in over 100 games in the French Top 14, bringing a wealth of experience to The Stoop on Friday. A very versatile player, Beauxis can play at fly-half and in the centres. A physical defended and great controller of the game, Beauxis also has an incredible left boot, which can prove dangerous both inside and out of opposing territory.
Florian Fritz - Centre
Florian Fritz has been with Toulouse since 2004 after signing from Bourgoin. Fritz is a powerful and fast running centre, who has become a talisman for Toulouse's defensive line. His first season was a revelation as he produced a number of flawless performances and became and indisputable element of the French squad. Despite his early competition, Fritz has cemented his place in the Toulouse squad and has become one of the most regular players on the team.
