During the visit, the Harlequins players joined in with dancing and singing, along with party games including, limbo and pass the parcel. Once the party finished, the players donated a cheque for £1,000 to the hospice. The players then received a tour to see the facilities and meet all the staff members.

Shooting Star CHASE is the children's hospice service, supporting local families with a child or teenager not expected to reach their 19th birthday. Shooting Star CHASE currently helps over 500 families living in western London, Surrey and West Sussex.

Families receive support free of charge, 365 days a year in their own homes and communities or at the children's hospices, Shooting Star House in Hampton and Christopher's in Guildford.

Commenting on the visit, Mike Brown said: "It was fantastic to come here today and join in the games and activities.
"We were very privileged to have a tour of the hospice and see how hard the staff members work. It was great to get an understanding of facilities that are on offer here.

"I would like to thank everyone at the hospice for a great afternoon and would like to wish them all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year."
