The Hitz project

The Hitz project had its first Inter borough event of the new year this week.
Harlequins joined forces with London Irish and Saracens to run the event where over 80 Young People from the London Boroughs participated.
The day consisted of various fun rugby activities, while concentrating on the technical side of the game(advance skills). After the completion of each station, a workshop followed on the following topics:

Alcohol abuse
Commenting on the event, Harlequins' Hitz Officer Warren Abrahams said:
"The skill level and behaviour was clear to see. The attitude of certain young players was noticeable for me, what was also noticeable was the talent that is there, the next step is to encourage the young people to go their local clubs. It is evident that the Hitz Project is working and is inspiring young people through the game of rugby."
