The session also saw special appearances from Quins players Seb Stegmann and Joe Trayfoot and a chance for the kids to have a picture taken with the Aviva Premiership Trophy. The event was part of the ESPN Premiership Rugby Masterclasses coaching initiative.

In total, some 100 boys and girls received expert tuition and a chance to meet and talk rugby with Ben Kay and Brian Holland plus the players from Quins. After the rugby training, which consisted of tackling and passing tuition followed by touch-rugby games, the kids were able to ask questions of the professional coaches and players standing in front of them to get an insight into the life at a Premiership rugby club.

The event is part of a nationwide tour by ESPN all season long - which will see it visit all Premiership clubs and local schools and grassroots rugby clubs - for its ESPN Premiership Rugby Masterclasses series where the likes of ESPN's (and former England internationals) Pete Richards, Austin Healey and Ben Kay visit grassroots rugby clubs and schools to coach coaches and players.

ESPN rugby analyst, Ben Kay said,'Great to see so many kids of all abilities enjoying rugby in this important month for rugby. Good to see the Quins boys supporting the event in what must be a massive week for them with such a big game ahead.'

Quins Community Rugby Coach, Brian Holland added,'It's good to come to these events and work with kids of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels to introduce them to rugby. I hope that those that haven't played before will continue learning the game. We saw some great potential amongst those that had played before...who knows we could have seen future Quins players here today.'
