Last week, Harlequins U18s took part in the annual Saracens U18 cup in St. Albans.
Based around the Elite Player Development Group (EPDG), Harlequins put forward a strong U18 side who have been training with the club throughout the summer.
It was the first time this collective group of players played together competitively and they performed admirably. 75 per cent of the squad were U17 which means they are eligible to play again for Harlequins in this tournament next year.
The Harlequins boys finished second in their pool only losing to the hosts and eventual joint winners Saracens.
This season will be the first time Harlequins U18 play six fixtures against the other Southern based academies at this age group and Wednesday's results are a great start to the season for the boys. Harlequins would like to congratulate all of them on their performances both as individuals and as a team.
