"Ross is another prodigious talent who is always looking to improve and become a better player," said Harlequins' Director of Rugby Conor O'Shea when he announced Chisholm's contract extension today (3rd September). "He does what we all like to see in a full back which is that first and foremost he does his basics well. Once you have that you have a chance as a full back, but when you run lines and have the pace that Ross has, then you can compete anywhere across the back three.
"Whether it be Ross putting pressure on Mike Brown and the senior wingers at the club or Luke Wallace (22) doing so to our experienced back rowers, our recent re-signings can only be good news for the short and long term future of the team," O'Shea added.
Commenting on his decision to extend his stay with the Premiership champions, Ross Chisholm said, "I've benefited from my time in the Harlequins Academy, in particular the hours spent working on basic skills and tactical awareness with coaches and mentors, all of which has helped me develop my game. We're a relatively young squad with great confidence and belief in each other. It is going to be another exciting year for the club and I am delighted to have re-signed."
