See how the Etihad Airways', Fly With The Best, Train With The Best competition winners got on at their exclusive behind the scenes training day at Harlequins' training ground

All four of the stands have been deep cleaned, this has included the installation of anti-roosting netting that features an unobtrusive fine mesh, secured high in the stands that will prevent damage to the seats and decking caused by the local pigeon population.
Replacement of the broken or sun-bleached seating has also commenced and eventually all seating will be replaced block by block in a rolling programme over coming seasons. The public areas of the stands, including the toilets, are also in the process of being decorated and upgraded.
Four new turnstiles have been constructed at Gate 3 to improve access. Visitors to the hospitality facilities in the Etihad and LV= Stands will also enjoy the renovations and redecorations undertaken in both.
Among the major improvements about to begin is the resurfacing of the North car park. Work on this project which includes improvements to access to the river, will start on 5th September and be completed within a month. We will do our best to minimise disruption, but invariably there will be some and supporters that use this car park on match days are advised to expect some disruption while the work is in progress.
Commenting on the improvements around the stadium, the Club's Chief Executive David Ellis said, "We have listened to our supporters and as promised, we have started to invest in upgrading the facilities at The Stoop. We are very proud of our stadium and want it to be the best in its category in London, that's what our supporters deserve. The work undertaken over the summer is the start of an on-going programme and I look forward to announcing further details when we can."
Supporters will have an opportunity to experience the improvements for themselves at the Aviva Premiership match with London Welsh on Friday 7th September, kick-off 7.45pm.
