Harlequins has confirmed an exciting group of pre-season fixtures as it prepares for the start of the 2013-14 season.

Over the last few weeks, I have been coaching fun games, while teaching the children the values and behavioursof rugby and develop a real buzz around the sport.
The excitement the kids experience, is a great opportunity to engage them in some basic skills that they would normally find very dull. For example, each of the 354 children that have been in my sessions so far this week have learnt the basics behind passing.
Coaches will know that there are only a handful of drills to practice passing and none of them are particularly thrilling. However, because it's new to the children, it's very exciting and there are many happy faces. If all else fails though I try and speak Portuguese, this usually has everyone is in stitches. Sometimes you just have to take some banter for the team!
Away from the field, the coaches spent last weekend in a beach house owned by a member of the British Council. I would like to thank Amanda for having us all. It really was a beautiful place and good company made a great weekend.
You will all be pleased to know that I have purchased my BIG GAME 5 tickets for when I return for Christmas. Having seen three of the last four big games there was no way I was missing the boys running out at Twickenham, I hope to see many of you there. Bring on the Chiefs this weekend.
See you next week!
