Luke Wallace has taken a giant step towards claiming this season's LV= Breakthrough Player Award.
The accolade is intended to recognise the outstanding young talent being showcased in the competition and after the flanker's great performance in the second round of the LV= Cup, he has been named in the shortlist for the second year.

Wallace made an incredible 18 tackles in the match, three more than any other player and six more than any of his teammates. This was made all the more impressive by the fact they were completed at a 100% success rate, including a try-saving effort. His workload in defence was matched in attack as he carried the ball on 12 occasions. The stats that made Wallace stand out were:
Tackles - 18
Misses - 0
Try Savers - 1
Carries - 12
Dominant Carries - 2
