This week has been great fun. My highlight was having rugby lessons in a swimming pool. There is no better way to spend the hot days then in a swimming pool.

The kids absolutely loved the experience and playing rugby in the pool was something different for all involved.

We started off with a game of tag to get everyone warmed up (it's hot here, but the pool is freezing).

Next we did some small skills work and then broke into a game of basketball rugby. In Basketball rugby, you can pass the ball in any direction, but once you have been touched, you have to pass. To score, all you have to do is tap the side.

I must admit it did get bit crazy but that's the way it goes. This was certainly the best week for me.

Normal lessons continued with my adult team. These guys proved the talent that is growing in Brazil. There are some really good players and they have learnt the skills needed to play the game really well. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before we have some regular competition.
