After Monday's training session we had a fantastic barbecue. The Brazilians certainly do the best barbecues.
We met with Premiership rugby on Tuesday in the city of Campinas. We spent most of the day in meetings and it gave us a chance to evaluate how we have been getting on and find ways to improve our time here. After this we went to another barbeque restaurant - We just can't get enough.
I had Wednesday off so I spent time looking around Tatui and saw some cowboys riding cows. I spent Thursday and Friday teaching and in the evening I went to the Frans dance festival. I really enjoyed watching the dancing and it was great to see the ballet and traditional Brazilian dance. After that, I went to a silent theatre, it's something that is very popular with the Brzilians and it was different to watching sport, which was a nice change.
On Saturday we headed back to Campinas for a big rugby event where all the elite players from Sao Paulo joined in our try rugby session. All the coaches were there so it was good to see everyone.
Chris has now left Brazil and I want to wish him all the best. That is all form me this week, it was great to see an Harlequins and England win to top off the week.
