From February to April 2013, the Aviva Premiership Rugby Trophy Lift took place at Premiership Rugby Clubs across the country in a search for the ultimate Fan Power, competing for the chance to carry the coveted Aviva Premiership Rugby Trophy to the Twickenham pitch side at the Final on Saturday 25th May.

You could be forgiven for forgetting that summer is just around the corner especially whilst checking the thermometers. But we are only a matter of weeks away from the school summer holidays and the start of the Harlequins Community Summer Camps.

Harlequins have teamed up with NatWest to offer three pairs of tickets to Harlequins fans to watch England play the Barbarians at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday 26th May (Kick-off 1.00pm).

First of all, I have to say goodbye to Flory my SESI sport co-ordinator, he has been a rock since I arrived here. His input has been brilliant and I would not have achieved anything without his help, he is also now an avid Harlequins fan which is a big bonus.

Rugby is continually on the increase here, we have nearly doubled the number of players in the last few weeks. We are also launching a women's team in SESI Tatui. For international Women's day, we decided to hold a session for those interested in the sport. It was a great hit with over 30 ladies involved and a good 30% of them interested in a team so watch this space.

School rugby is on the increase as well, each class is grasping the sport of rugby faster and faster each week. Soon we will be holding a school festival. A large number of students want to play rugby outside of school time now so I will be looking to fit that in as soon as possible. My other SESI Botucatu has really embraced the sport of rugby and would like me to improve them to the standard of SESI Tatui so I have a large challenge ahead.

On Friday I will be off to Sao Paulo to speak at a Seminar held by the British Council to discuss the project with Dom Caton, the Exeter Chiefs Rep SESI Campinas, Scott Watson Premiership Rugby Project manager and the referee manager for the Brazil Rugby union.
