On November 8th, Help a London Child launched this year's annual appeal and we want YOU to help them make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our city this Christmas.
Last year over £290,000 was raised helping support over 120,000 disadvantaged children in our city - and this year we want to raise even more!
Anyone can get involved, and your donation big or small WILL make a difference.
There are so many ways you can get involved:
- Buy a limited edition Harlequins Big Game 3 shirt and Help a London Child will receive £15 from every one sold.
-
Text 'HELP' to 70100 to donate £5 and Barclaycard Community Gifts will double the donations until we reach our target of £100,000!
- Buy a limited edition t-shirt designed by JLS and Alexandra Burke and Help a London Child will receive £1.50.
-
Buy a Merlin Annual Pass for nearly half price and Help a London Child will receive £5 from every one bought!
-
Visit Santa's Wish Kingdom at Westfield Shopping Centre and pop a donation in the bucket.
- Simply make a donation
-
Organise your own fundraiser
And that's not all. From Monday 13th December we'll be auctioning off some incredible money-can't buy prizes - watch this space for further information!
The money you donate will go towards keeping children's projects around the Capital going for another year. London is not only one of the wealthiest cities in the world, but it is also home to children suffering from abuse, poverty, homelessness, disability, and illness - some of which will be right on your doorstep. The projects we fund include support groups for children and young people with a disability, special need or an illness, as well as a range of sports, music, drama & leisure activities and youth clubs.
Grants are also awarded to refuge & homelessness projects, holiday play schemes and residential breaks in the UK, cultural activities, supplementary schools, literacy programmes and much more.
The children we support can't thank you personally, but we'd like to thank you on their behalf for helping contribute to this years Capital's Christmas Appeal.
