Quins captain takes the second Award of the season.
Harlequins captain Chris Robshaw has been awarded the Gatorade Game Changer Award for October. The Game Changer rewards the player responsible for the most effective single performance each month, according to the Opta Index®.
Robshaw's contribution against Exeter Chiefs was enough to secure the Award, despite ending up on the losing side. The England captain registered 11 carries, 19 tackles and beat two defenders at Sandy Park during the clash on Saturday, October 6th.
On being presented the award by Gatorade - an Official Performance Partner to Premiership Rugby - Robshaw said: "Exeter is always a tough place to play and it is good to have performances recognised with awards such as the Game Changer, regardless of a win or a loss."
Robshaw is the second player to receive the Gatorade Game Changer Award so far during the 2012/2013 Premiership season following teammate Mike Brown, who scooped the prize in September. Each of the Game Changer winners will be competing for the Game Changer of the Season Award in May. The 2011/2012 Award was won by Exeter Chiefs' Gonzalo Camacho.
