Charlie Matthews joined the Harlequins EPDG system at 15 and split his time in the Harlequins Academy with studying a foundation degree in Sports Science and Sports Management at Loughborough University. The Kingston born second row has represented England U18s and took part in the Junior World Championships in 2010 and 2011. Matthews will become a senior squad member for the 2012-13 season.
