Harlequins confirmed today (23rd May) that Chris Brooker is leaving the club to join Worcester Warriors.

Originally from New Zealand, John Dams graduated from Otago University in 1998 with a BA in Physical Education. Having majored in Exercise prescription and management, he worked with Otago Rugby Union before moving to Wellington in 2000, where he was contracted by both Wellington Rugby and Wellington Cricket team. He joined Wellington Rugby full time in 2002, and then moved to Leicester to work with Leicester Tigers in 2004. After working with Tigers for four years, John joined Harlequins in February 2008.
John's main job at the club is to get the players in the best possible shape physically to play the best rugby they can. He covers all areas of preparation and recovery, including working on strength, power, speed, nutrition, conditioning and rehab. He is in charge of the post training and post match recovery, and delivers status reports to the coaches accordingly.
