After launching the search for a new Harlequins chant last month, Chris Munton and members of his Match Day Support Team showcased the final three entries on the big screen during half time of the Worcester Warriors match.
John Kingston was educated at Durham School and played for England Schools. He went to Cambridge University and captained the winning blues side in 1982.
John then played rugby for Newcastle Gosforth, Rosslyn Park, Middlesex and London Division, England Under 23's and England B. He then played for Quins during the 1986/87 season before a knee injury forced him to retire from the game.
John joined the coaching team at Harlequins in the summer of 2001 from Irish side Galwegians, where he coached the team to great success. Prior to this he was coach at Richmond, where he began working with the Under 21 side before moving on to coach the First XV.
