Tim studied Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University and graduated with First Class Honours in 2006, before completing a PGCE in Physical Education the following year. After this he went on to teach PE for 3 years, during which time he completed numerous coaching awards, including his RFU Advanced Coaches qualification. Whilst teaching, Tim delivered conditioning sessions to Loughborough Students RFC and Leicester Tigers EPDG, where he gained valuable experience before joining Harlequins for the 2010-11 season.
As an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, Tim is involved in the delivery of all S&C sessions at the club. However, his main focus is on the development of the Academy Players from School of Rugby through to the Full-Time Squad, for whom he creates individualised plans to meet their preparation, recovery and rehab needs. Tim is also responsible for planning the EPDG programme and helps organise the content and structure of the EPDG camps. Some of his other roles include organising the SOR / EPDG Weight Training Centres and liaising with School Rugby and Conditioning coaches.
