As you can see from the images on Facebook, we certainly have been busy. The adults are into full contact and they have picked it up quickly. There's a few teething problems of course, but they are loving it more and more. I personally can't wait for when we start back properly half way through February when we can really get this team up and running.
As this project is based around Tag the whole schools will be starting off learning tag according to Premiership Rugby methods and so the teachers in the schools can really get to grips with how to introduce the sport.
We have a couple of events coming up to introduce rugby to more people to keep growing SESI Tatui rugby and I am really pushing for a girls team. The ladies recently tried the sport and loved it, so I'm hoping my idea for a ladies rugby day will really hit off and get it up and running.
We have a few new links for you to follow the programme. On Twitter, you can follow @TryRugbyBrazil and on facebook, search for Try Rugby SP for the latest information about other cities on the project. For daily updates on the project you can follow my personal account @adriansilvester.
