Etihad Airways and Harlequins are giving supporters the opportunity to decide on the Etihad Player of the Month
One lucky fan (and guest), who votes for the winning
Etihad Player of the Month, will be drawn at random each month and will win tickets to a Harlequins match as well as get to present the award to the winning player on match day.
Harlequins have put together an internal panel of experts, who will select their top five players each month. The quintet will be shown here each month.
Please carefully weigh-up the case for each player and then vote for the chance to meet him and get an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes.
Voting ends at midday UK time on February 2nd.
Mike Brown
Brown coupled his call up to the England squad for the Six Nations by being longlisted for ERC's "European player of the year" award for the second successive season. Nick Evans produced a man of the match performance in the rain sodden pitch in Biarritz. The fly-half was once again cool under pressure and scored 11 of the 16 points which secured Harlequins their sixth win in the competition and a home quarter final.
Tom Guest
The Harlequins back-row scored the only try in the game against Biarritz earlier this month which secured the Londoners a place in the knock-out stages of the Heineken Cup. Guest was also pivotal in the victory over London Welsh in the LV= Cup, threatening the defensiveline on numerous occasions.
Chris Robshaw
Chris Robshaw's 2013 started with a bang. The flanker was awarded with the Rugby Writers "player of the year" award for 2012 and has also been named as England's captain for the upcoming Six Nations. Robshaw has been his exceptional self this month; histireless efforts around the breakdown were rewarded by scoring in the victory against London Welsh in the Aviva Premiership.
