February Etihad Airways Player of the Month nominees
Tom Guest
The Harlequins back row had a strong February. Beginning the month with a man of the match performance against the Ospreys, this helped earn Harlequins a place in the semi-finals of the LV= Cup. Guest has been strong going forward with the ball in hand and has been a rock in defence.
Nick Easter -
Named as Harlequins captain in the absence of Chris Robshaw, Nick Easter has lead his side from the front. Despite the loss against London Wasps, Nick Easter was one of the stand-out performers, topping the stats and outplaying his opposite number.
Karl Dickson -
Karl Dickson was instrumental in the victory over Sale Sharks at the end of the month, his individual break lead to Tom Williams' try and his quick tap penalties kept the game at a high tempo, despite the cold conditions.
Ben Botica -
Ben Botica once again showed his raw talent when he stepped up just one hour before kick-off to play a commanding role in the victory over Leicester Tigers. The fly-half notched a personal points tally of 17 and also kicked 15 points during the 21-30 victory over Sale Sharks.
Matt Hopper -
Matt Hopper marked his February with two stunning tries. The first, against the Ospreys saw the centre cutting in on the angle and dance around three defenders within the 22. His second try combined skill and luck to touch down against London Wasps. The centre played in all four games during the month and his efforts have helped the club.
