Key information for our Cardiff Rugby fixture

Facilities

Harlequins look forward to re-opening The Stoop to supporters with the majority of facilities and services returning to ‘operating as usual’, but supporters are advised of several key changes for this fixture:

The North Stand will be shut for this fixture as on-going building work to upgrade supporters facilities is taking place. This is planned to be complete ahead of our first league fixture in September.

The DHL East Stand will initially be open for ticket purchases, followed by the Charles Stanley West Stand and then the South Stand, according to demand.

The majority of indoors and outdoor bars and dining areas will be open as usual. At this time it is not known if the Honours Bar will be available for Members to return to, or if government guidelines will require this to remain the Home team dressing room for a short period. We will communicate to attendees ahead of the match as soon as we receive confirmation.

The NHS vaccination centre will not be in operation on the matchday.

COVID precautions

There will no longer be a requirement to arrive or depart in a phased, timed order. Supporters are able to arrive and leave as they choose, although it is recommended to arrive early to avoid queues.

Some COVID precautions will remain in place with one way routes and additional hand sanitiser stations around the stadium for example, but social distancing will not be required. The wearing of face masks will be voluntary.

It is anticipated that the players will not be able to interact with supporters due to government restrictions, meaning unfortunately no selfies and autograph signings yet.

There is no requirement for proof of vaccination or recent negative COVID test result on entry.

Matchday

There will be no match day programmes for this match but we will revert to programmes for sale on matchdays across the 21/22 season thereafter.

The Shop at The Stoop will be open.

Fan Radios will be available to buy and redeem from the Quinformation point.

Members can also collect their Quins Rewards items from this location and ask the Membership team any outstanding questions. Note that Membership packs, inclusive of Member pin badges, will be delivered to Members ahead of the September 25, our first Home Men’s match. These will not be available to collect on September 4.

Pre-match entertainment will be limited vs usual matchdays as this is a pre-season friendly.
